As far as the color correction goes, the pictures looses alot when the warm tones are removed. Can you keep the original warm shot and just turn down the skin tone saturation a bit to give it a little contrast and focus for the viewer.
Again, i love the composition no matter what you decide on the colors in the end. Congrats
I like the first as it looks so natural, its only when you look at the second you remember that a tourch would throws off a yellow glow. Still like the first
I like the first better as well. You could warm it up a bit(the magenta in his cheeks tell me it is too cool), but I agree the second shot is waaaay warm!!!
Sams version looks pretty good....at least to my tired eyes!!
