I am wanting a "cloud" lightsphere for my 580EXII for those times when I do not have a ceiling to bounce from. I am seeing different sizes on different sites. Does anyone know the correct size?
Thanks,
Jeff

Just physically put my Lightsphere for the 580EX on my 580EXII speedlight.
It fits. It's a little tighter than on the 580EX, but doesn't appear to be an issue.
Hope that helps...
...and Randy, yours is a C4?....tight is good if it isn't an issue....wouldn't want to have to go look around for it if it falls off!!
....do you like the results with it?

Jeff,
I looked all over the unit and I can't find a model number on it.
But, when I ordered it from Gary's website, I simply ordered the one that his list stated was for the 580EX.
As for the results: Yes, I like the light it produces.
There are of course, situations that are not a good match for its use.
Like no ceilings to bounce off of, or the ceiling is very dark or even black. In this case it simply waste too much of your speedlights output going 360 degrees & shooting up to "nothing". Due to this type situation, I've had good luck with the, make your own www.abetterbouncecard.com type modifier. Works good in above situation and outside. Albeit, you do get harder light from this type modifier.
Also check out the Photoflex mini-softbox. It produces very nice light, you can use it indoors and out.
Shot using the Photoflex mini-softbox & my 580EX
Oh, almost forgot: You'll make extra money with the Lightsphere. People just can't seem to keep from putting some spare change in it, like its a cup on your nightstand
Hope that helps...
