Nice shots, nice focus, nice light yada yada yada.....

There are some photographers who frequent the boards who are under 18 years of age. A warning of partial or implied nudity would have been a nice touch in thethumb.gif title.

to increase the hit rate? Sorry, but the title said it all in my opinion.

If you're worried about these pics, you better keep the kids out of grocery stores, closely monitor their TV, certainly don't let them wander in just about any major book store, and by all means avoid beaches -- and hey, you have the internet at home?? :D

Back to topic -- rhommel, did you do some post processing to soften/smooth the skin?

Nice job-- pretty straight forward glam. My fav is the last shot with the candy hearts just because it's unique. I have nothing against glamour (and in fact, I really love high-end glamour)-- my one suggestion would be to try a little more crazy/creative/unique shots like that last one. Forget the finger in the mouth-- make it sexy through less obvious methods.

I'm thinking big here (mainly because you clearly have the basics of lighting and posing and post work down)-- like Helmut Newton and Bob Carlos Clarke. You know... the shooters who get sexy models and (used to) shoot fantastic photos, but at the same time rarely did the ol' finger in the mouth or obvious sex appeal stuff.

    Just my two cents anyway.

And in terms of the under-18 crowd, well, I'm an old guy now but even I know there are 'better' places than dgrin for sexy pics. I suspect most kids know that too. :D

Why is her navel, of all things, out of focus in #3?

About time we got some serious cheesecake on this forum.
Nicely done. Very pretty girl, and sure there's a lot of PP, but glamor's all about fantasy anyway, right?
    She has a navel?? Oh . . . yeah.

OK, now for criticism. Lose the shoes. Nobody likes to see the soles of shoes.

Actually I think she is extremely unattractive with or without a navel, and if this sub-forum devolves to cheesecake it will be a tragedy. And trust me, I am not a prude.

The photography is the issue which is why I wondered about the navel.

Hmm. Guess that's why they make more than one flavor of ice cream. Porn I'd find objectionable. Glamor (cheescake to quote myself) I find fun. I don't think it represents any form of degradation of the forum at all. I respect your right to hold your opinion.

    lol.. thanks for the replies...

icebear: you are right about the shoes... ill keep that in mind..

i thought i signed an 'agreement' before i signed up here on dgrin that i have to be over '18'... so i assume everyone here is an adult?

anyway, that's why i put the word 'glamour' in the title.. but i can always put 'nsfw' if the moderators feel that the photos are way too 'sexy'.. lol

    thanks again guys..

but the word GLAMOUR in the photography world means implied nudity or very sexy so it's called COMMON SENSE

I would try a different pose for #2 - the pose looks to forced and she looks very uncomfortable. Sexy is generated largly from not only beauty but the feeling of confidence (which is achieved in the first pic where she looks like she owns the camera). Hard to look confident when your in an uncomfortable position. I really like the idea in the 3rd picture, only thing is I would have liked to have seen the entire background as the candy hearts I find the break between the candy and the sheet distracting. I also agree with the comment about finding a better place for her hand than the finger in the mouth, its way overdone.

I've been hoping to see more variety of images here, personally, and am glad to see these. I also like some of the earlier images you posted. I sort of get the feeling that "People" equates to children and wedding for some odd reason here.
Anyway, she's so smooth it looks like she's wearing a body stocking. Re #2: I don't mind seeing heels, but I dont like seeing the dirty bottom of a shoe especially when everything else is trying to come across as flawless. There's also some white stuff on the couch to the right of her left hand (in the picture). Also, is that a heart in #2?
I like #3, unbelievably, cropped right above the bust. My favorite is #1.

#1 is my favorite - looks most natural as the second one the expression in her face reads wrong - last one didn't need the finger in the mouth.

I too think you did a nice job with these but... (I'm not sure what I'm allowed to say, so mods please feel free to edit if needed.)

    1) looks a little stiff. Over all I like the pose, but it looks almost like she's trying to accentuate or push up her breasts with her arms and her right hand and arm are very stiff looking. The skin tone on her legs is very orange with green highlights. I like the head position/angle and the hair and the background grey gradient.

    2) this is my least favorite. Her face is out of focus, the red pillow is strange, she's very stiff, dirty shoes, white stuff under the couch cushion. Also, while I have no problem with tattoos seeing this one in this shot makes it less "glamour" to me and more...well...stereotypical (kind of like the finger in the mouth thing.)

    3) I agree with dogwood, this one is a nice "something different", but I also agree with the finger in the mouth thing. I'd like her eyes open a tiny bit more to get a little more catch light. There's also a dot of mascara or eyeliner on her left lid that distracts a bit. Otherwise, I really like the make up too.

(In 1 and 3 it's hard not to notice that a lot of skin is showing. It looks like you airbrushed out her areolae (trying for scientific, PC, and PG 13). This looks unnatural, maybe just cover up a bit more?ne_nau.gif)

so then I'd have to rethink that crop of 3, although I do agree with flashphotoboy on the hearts background... :)
