soft proofing

when I attempt to load the ICC profile for softproofing, as suggested, I get a list of figures 3 feet long??? Am I in the right place?

    Probably. You have a lot of ICC profiles loaded. You can remove them if they are not of any use. You load the profiles for soft proof in Photoshop's View menu (Proof Setup_>Customize Proof Setup).
