Anyone participating in the eCO (electronic Copyright Office) beta?

Just got my approval and invitation to participate in the beta this morning (only took two weeks from date my application was submitted), and now that I'm reading through the fine print on the instructions I was hoping someone might have some real life feedback on;

1. I know that the upload process was a bit buggy in the beginning, but I haven't been able to find any recent feedback. Since the number of files that can be submitted in one deposit will be limited by the 30 minute upload timeout, have the upload times been as you expected recently? The copyright office says they are trying to make sure there are no problems since close to 10,000 people are now registered to use the system, but I'd like to hear from someone actually using the system.

2. The guide gives some general guidelines as to how much data can be uploaded in a session based on network connection speed, but it specifically discusses high quality/low compression full sized files. I would "think" that eCO participants can use the same size guidelines as those who submit on a CD/DVD, ie. 100 px on the short side (that's actually photoattorney's recommendation). Can you comment on what size you are preparing your files, and how many you've been able to successfully upload in one deposit?

3. Do you believe that the number of images you have been able to success upload in one deposit is worthwhile given the discounted price? I don't think the discounted price will last beyond the beta...but if you can fit a substantially greater number of images on a DVD for only $10 more...

I've been googling my little heart out hoping to find some discussion on the web, but doesn't seem to be much out there other than the early complaints of the application process taking months and the problems with uploads at the beginning.

I'd really love to hear some real life best practices before I start playing around with it myself.
