Welcome to dgrin, Micheal. There are a number of dgrinners who are going to be in Yosemite in early May. Maybe you can give us some pointers. Very nice foggy image. thumb.gif

Ah, Michael, we should be so lucky as to find a scene like that when we get there. That's a beautiful shot. Welcome to dgrin! wave.gif

This is a beautiful, moody shot of El Capitan and Bridalveil Falls. What time of the year was this photo taken? When I was there last September the water coming over Bridalveil couldn't even be seen from Tunnel View. Going back in May (13-16) and hope to find much more water in the falls. Very few had much more than a trickle of water in Sept.

    Welcome aboard.

Well...I'm no expert on Yosemite but I would be happy to help you dgrinners out any way I can.

Hi Dixie this was taken 3/20/05 :D

The falls should sound like constant thunder in May...we have a lot of snow in the high country!

Sounding good. That's what I'm hoping to see. I just hope that Glacier Point Road is open as well, as I would also like to do the hike from there back down into the valley.
