Work my way down the rocks to get these guys I have shot them before but was not happy with the results. Did a 30 minute stalk down the rocks. What really helped was that every 10 minutes they would go into a feeding frenzy and I could get closer each time until I was within 20-25ft. Was trying to overcome my depression of my D300 dying. Getting these shots with the D50 really helped my mood.

Thanks all. I had a Common Goldeneye hanging around too, but would not cooperate just stayed off far enough for a decent shot.
