I just got a digital slr after putting down the film about 13 years ago. It is amazing how fast you can forget eveything. Please be honest it's the only way to get better.

I knew, of course, that trees and plants had roots, stems, bark, branches and foliage that reached up toward the light. But I was coming to realize that the real magician was light itself.

Hoping to be kind and helpful
Exposure is down about 1/3-2/3 stop. Child is centered in frame and background rules over the subject. There is room to crop the little guy to remove some of the unnecessary distractions. Also, a vertical shot would orientate the shot much better as he is longer than wide..Laughing.gif. A bit of addtional exposure, cropping and edge burning will make this a much better photo.
