I just happened to see this little girl working away up in a tree. I had to do some climbing to get these shots.

    Is it from outer space?
Nice image. I have seen one like this before out at Merrit Island WFR. Not sure what it is but I bet someone here knows. MM

Hmmmmmmmm hardly seems right that some folks get the most interesting shaped spiders does it eek7.gifrolleyes1.gif

I have seen these Star shaped spiders in Queensland,
they also come in many colours, the ones I saw were Yellow and White.

They're an amazing shape considering they are a spider and not a crab.

Great find on your part Terry thumb.gif Well Done.

I'm a spider guy, tarantula collector, and I have seen those things, but for the life of me I can't think of what it is. I THINK it's called a crabspider.

    Not so Marco
Got this spider during the field trip in the wetland park. Just lazy to change to 100 mm Macro lens, I use the 70-200 F2.8 IS. Set it to shortest focus 1.4 meter and used 550 EX flash with defusser to improve the brightness and contrast.
