Thumbs-Up not showing in Popular Photos

A customer for whom I was going to do an advertisement layout told me that she'd gone through my gallery of photos of her kids gymnastics studio, and given a Thumbs-Up to the ones she wanted me to consider using in the ad.
I looked through my "most popular photos" and didn't find any from this gallery.

It's password protected - does that have anything to do with it?

    yup, thumbs only work in public galleries :) Else they'd show up in SmugMug's popular photos section, sorry.

    One other question about Popular Photos-
    I tried to switch my view style from slideshow to anything else, and it would always revert to slideshow - the other view wouldn't take. Tried on two different computers.
    Anything I could try?
