Hi! I was taking some pictures of Hummingbirds and for a break, I decided to find another bird. The white is blown, but I like it. Feel free to comment.

Ahhhh yes the Bird of Paradise Flower, it's a weird looking flower isn't it.
The old Maternity Wing of the Geelong Hospital, called Baxter House,
used to be lined out the front with these plants.
Quite a unique and pretty flower ... thanks for sharing ... Skippy
.
Now where's those humming bird shots ??

Today was not my day for Hummingbirds. I got my dad into Hummingbirds a couple of weeks ago and he has been digging out any old flash that can be used. I stopped by my parents house yesterday and sat in with him, but I did not use the flash setup.
This was hand held, with a bit of PS to get rid of a feeder on the right.

Ok, Skyler is English and not wearing natural Aussi colors, but he keeps me company! Hand held late this past afternoon. I need to try again with more light.
