Lizard at Mikongo Camp, Gabon, Africa. The whole camp had several lizards which seemed quite comfortable running around. This was the most colorful one. Shot with the Canon Digital Rebel XTi and EF 70-200 f/2.8L IS, with the Canon 1.4x extender (at 280mm focal length). I could have removed the extender and gotten a somewhat better shot, but it was a quick, spur of the moment capture and the extender was on the lens. ISO 100, f/5.0, 1/400. A bit of work in Lightroom, tone curve and saturation adjustments.

There are a bunch more photos from that trip (http://spinfire.smugmug.com/gallery/4174035) but I haven't gotten around to posting any of them here yet. When I get the time...
Canon Digital Rebel XTi
Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L, Canon EF 70-200 f/2.8L IS, Canon EF-S 10-22 f/3.5-4.5.
Canon Speedlite 580EX II, Custom Brackets Flash Bracket. 2x AlienBees AB800, ABR800.

Excellent shot, my only quibble would be that I would have preferred to have seen the whole lizard.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
