Yes, one of my favorite sports to photograph is back. The local collegiate and high school seasons are cranking up. Here's a couple of shots from Saturday's game between Georgia Tech and Sewanee College.
Where'd you get all that bright lighting from? Oh yeah, I think I remember -- they call it the "sun". Gotta get me some of that up here one of these months! Meanwhile, nice shots as always. I DO have one tiny little pet peeve of my own -- and it's purely personal but borne out of watching my kids play for 14 or so years now -- I think offensive players look geeky with two hands on the stick (except in ground ball situations). I get plenty of shots of them anyway (usually because I catch them changing hands) but I don't generally post them. So that would make #4 NOT my fave, but not because it's not a good sharp capture.
