How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Great shots Harry I find the small birds so quick. I hold down the shutter and poof they are gone!
Mind you I only have a 300d which only shoots 2.5 frames per sec as the spec say . (where did that .5 of a frame go anyhow?)
But still in the blink of an eye ...gone.You sure are lucky to have such great flora to take pictures with your fauna.

As usuall I look forward to your next post!

    Hey Tim,

These little ones are so hard to shoot. They are rarely still and will fly off as soon as they notice you. Thanks for the kind words.

nice shots harry-the northern mockingbird appears to be snacking on some australian flora-grevillea-its common name here is bottlebrush,as thats what the flowers resemble-you will find that they will attract all sorts of nectar eating birds and insects.

Thanks Kerwin. I was lucky to get that shot becasue he was on the move the moment I got the shot off. Those little ones are so much tougher to get than egrets and herons.

    Hey Mr. H

That's one ugly bird. It looks like he has issues with a lot more stuff than just egret shooters.
