Anyone using the Canon 28mm/1.8 ?

I'm looking for a not too expensive
normal lens for my 10D. I've found
many reviews stating the lens had
so-so bokeh and was unusably soft
wide open. Can anyone comment?

I know it's not as wide, but the 50mm 1.4 has been an amazing lens for me and the bokeh is amazing with it. It can get a little soft at 1.4, but is tack sharp for me at 1.8+ and awesome at 1.4 with the right light

I have a 28 f/1.8, I've been very happy with the pictures I get from it.

Tried one, returned it. Got the Sigma 30mm 1.4 instead. Heaven!
