I love still pics that convey movement. Very, very nice shots especially the first!

I knew, of course, that trees and plants had roots, stems, bark, branches and foliage that reached up toward the light. But I was coming to realize that the real magician was light itself.

    Hey Jeff,

You know what you did wrong so I wont belabor that. You did capture a good sense of movement. The second shot is a classic bird butt shot. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one getting those butt shots. :D

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Those ESL classes aren't going too well, are they Troy? rolleyes1.gif
    sorry...j/k.

Yep, you know what you did wrong. The good part is the composition and the sharpness of the image is left to the viewer's imagination. Try again tomorrow.

Did you know that doves mate for life? Yep, that's right...unless it's a juvenile, you will almost always see two doves together (male and female), unless momma is sitting on eggs.

Another thing that's cool about doves is that they seem to have no problem nesting near humans. Several times over the years, I've had nests of doves in my hanging redwood fuchsia pots under the eaves of my home. So did my dad. They don't even seem to mind when you water the plant, so long as you dribble the water in slowly on the edge of the pot furthest away from the nest.
