Took this Yesterday. I like the green, not crazy about the OOF splash on the right. It kinda reminds me of a shot from the Highlander movie:

Appreciate you viewing and commenting. The does bother me, I may go back and try with a higher shutter, or slow on a tripod headscratch.gif

Nice color and shot. Ben, when you go back try some really long exposures and make the ocean really fluid - like 20-30 seconds and maybe even a minute. I hope you have some ND filters to get some really long exposures stopped all the way down. Those colors with the fluid ocean should make for some really dynamic shots. Try different angles and compositions as well.

Don't forget to lock that mirror up. :D

    Hey Ben,

Veyr nice shot, love the colors and the water action. The water doesn't have to be sharp. You wnat to convet a sense of movement. I think Dixie is on the mark suggesting you do some more shots with a slower shutter speed and steped down aperture. You could get some real interesting shots.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Marina Del Rey, breakwater in SoCal near the LAX airport. Actually was going to try and take piccies of planes taking off over ocean, but nowadays with security fences everywhere really can't get very close :cry

    Glad your stopped by thumb.gif
