Why do I like these shots?

Maybe its just me, but I like these shots for some reason.
I don't there award winnning, maybe I'm just seeing things I've never really paid attention to. Or mayeb the textures. Any ideas? or am i just crazy? lol
Anyone else have shots like this, you don't know why you like them, but you do!

    I think #1 is quite swell. A nice, high-contrast B&W treatment would bring even more focus on texture and geometry. I enjoy taking pics like your #1 above.

    #2 looks cool to me - the natural tones contrasted against the blurred color with some contrast from the angle of the sun. Maybe even landscape orientation using a 1/3 position on the post would be even more interesting.

    I took a pic like your #3 over the winter just in case I thought I could do something with it but it just didn't float my boat.

    Hi there Kowboy33, I like the first shot as well.
    I look at that fence and I want to go climb on it,
    it is inviting, it leads to a path, the fallen leaves would crunch under my feet should I step on them.... being a kid again is comes to mind, when I look at that image nod.gif
