Best photography magazine ?

I'm a bad user I didn't search the threads....

What are good magazines on photography ? I'm an amateur that has been dabbling in photography for the past 20 years. Someone wants to give me a subscription as a present.

goto the stand and see what strikes your interest...myself i like pro digital imaging...and shutterbug....

Personally, for a person into learning about photography, UK mags seem to be the best. I think for general reading, UK's Practical Photography and Photography Monthly are good.

i just subscribed to LensWork Extended.

Aperture looks like something i need to investigate further too.

Of course it depends what sort of photography you're interested in.

Personally I love the sailing mags! But in terms of just plain beautiful photography, I really enjoy "Nature's Best".

Like everthing else in photography, it depends. My personal favorites are LensWork (inspiration & insight for art photography), Rangefinder (good pro info), and PhotoLife (a good general photo mag).
