This coming May there is a wonderful opportunity
for serious wildlife photographers to
participate in a conservation safari to Tanzania
The organization that is offering this
safari is "Focus on Planet Earth", founded by David
Anderson.

Check here: www.focusonplanetearth.org

The mission of Focus on Planet Earth is one of
conservation, to increase awareness of the fragility
of the planets sensitive and vulnerable ecosystems and
the amazing critters that reside within them. David
is particularly interested in working with serious
amateur and professional photographers that would be
interested in participating in this planetary
conservation movement.

All photographers wishing to participate would need to
contribute 30-60 (may be more or less) of their images
they captured while on safari. These images would be
used in various forms of conservation media, including
books and educational slide show presentations that "Focus on
Planet Earth" would produce. Photographers retain all
images rights and permit "Focus on Planet Earth" to
simply borrow the use of their images for conservation
purposes.

In exchange, David is able to offer all safari
participants substantial discounts on the actual
safari cost. For instance, the non-photographer price
for the Tanzania safari is $6,645, the photographer
price is $3,995. This is REALLY cheap for a 2 week
safari to Africa, as well as a great opportunity to make a
difference with your photography.

I have participated in two previous safaris with "Focus
on Planet Earth", both were fabulous experiences! And
now many of my images are being used for conservation
purposes. I have now been invited to escort safaris for
"Focus on Planet Earth", to be of assistance to participating
photographers, helping them achieve outstanding images!
My background and expertise regarding wildlife photography
is extensive, and have much to share with all participants.

So that is a little background of how this
has come to be.

participate, please contact me directly at:

An incredible opportunity and the price is the best I've seen for such a photographic safari.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Shane is this a onetime event, or is this ongoing?

I would love to do this at some point in the future when I can afford to.

    Hi Glen

This will happen for probably the next 2 years, and Tanzania is not the only trip you can take advantage of. David will continue to offer this deal to photographers until he has accumulated enough images for his next books.

Maybe I'll see you next year.

    G'day

Anyone interested in seeing what other trips are available should check out this link:

If you have never been on safari in Africa, the shooting opportunities are astounding! In just one thre hour game drive in east Africa you would typically see hundreds if not thousands of various animals - prey and predators abound!

Just wanted to let people know they may still be interested in the Tanzania Safari - there is are only TWO spots left. Looks like we have a fablous group of great photographers, there will be much to learn and share from everyone involved.

    Hope to see you there.
