Ths doesn't make any sense to me, can someone explain this logic?

You go to the Smugsearch Browse page.
You type in or click on beach in the most popular today and you get this result:
http://www.smugmug.com/keyword/today/beach#5232440

On the same Smugsearch page, you click on beach in the most popular of "all time" and you get this result: http://www.smugmug.com/keyword/all/beach#254216567

On this second results page, appears two of my "beach images" (a man walking on the beach and the seashell) that I just uploaded tonight! It's great they are there but, how are these most popular of all time if they were just uploaded this evening? :scratch

Last: what made the ones that are popular today.... popular? Were they ranked with lots of green thumbs ups?

Thank you in advance for your explanation..... I'm still learning here.

Canon AE1 - it was my first "real camera"
Canon 20D - no more film!

EDIT: Forget my prior response, I was being dumb.

The page that you are looking at, is not the 'popular' page, but just a 'normal' keyword page. There is no 'ranking' involved there.

There is actually a complicated formula for that, but it does involve the thumbs thumb.gif
