Coyote Buttes / The Wave

These are from a few years ago. My last trip to the area was a none starter. The spring rains washed out the dirt road :cry The area is on BLM land and requires a permit to enter. Only 20 people per day can enter the area. 10 permits are available on line. The other 10 are given out by lottery at the ranger station for the next days entry. See here for all the info. It is a great hike if you can get the time. This is in the desert, so carry lots of water and pack a lunch.
It is 4-5mile hike in.

Very nice shots. That must be a very fascinating place to see and to photograph. I was in Page not long ago and the wave was inaccessable due to bad weather. I'll be back.
