This is an old childhood toy of mine that my grandma found and gave to me. critique welcome:D

    I thnk it's a great subject to take a picture of. You can approach it from so many ways. Not to mention it has sentimental value for you.

    The DOF is a bit too shallow though. I'd like to see the whole car sharp.
    It also looks like your using two different light temps for this shot. The light to the right is more cold (redder) than the left light source.

    Other than that, great capture.

    yea it's my makeshift lighting. unfortuantly that's all i have at the moment. ah well. thanks for commenting

    You could just use a sheet of paper out of frame to act as a fill light..ne_nau.gif

    i tried that, but it wasn't bright enough.

    The reflection and angle of the car, make it look like it's about to take off.

    I like how you cannot see where the merging of the background and base used for your image.

    Looks like this toy car has been well played with in it's day.

    That's a great old diecast model of a Porsche mwink.gif . And the reflection is very cool. Any markings indicating the manufacturer? Corgi, Dinky, etc?

    it says TOOTSIETOY then a big 2 and Chicago underneath that.
