My Valentine's Day treat
Late afternoon, close to sunset.
I saw this big bird fly in from the ocean and land on the path. It stalked it's way down to the water, and I was right behind the bird! It was in shadow, so I shamelessly used photoshop to enhance the image, but I didn't clone a thing !
Hue/saturation, curves, select eye, copy eye, paste eye on layer, overlay, sharpen and that was it.
Not the sharpest photo in the world, but the bird wasn't going to wait for me to futz around (New York City area expression) with camera settings. It flew away after 3 shutter clicks!
I consider it my Valentine's Day treat!

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
