shooting the moon

...good thing no one actually can. THAT would be problematic. hah.

took some shots of the moon tonight. Shot in RAW for the first time and liked the results. PLEASE tell me what you think. I'm putting up the best two. enjoy!

    The first one is nice. The second is a little too grainy and dark for me. BTW, I was out shooting the moon as well. Next Wednesday is a full moon and depending on where you are, sunset/moonrise may be around the same time. It will for me.

    The first one looks really sharp but the second is a bit noisy. What size lens?

    There is quite a difference in noise between these two images.
    The first being the least noisey out of the two.

    The images are different brightnesses too.

    Definitely the First shot is the better of the two,
    picked up a lot of detail on the moon surface thumb.gif ... Skippy :D
