Hi, I was just curios as to what lens I should be using if I wanted to have a subject jump, whirl hair, etc without it blurring. I have seen various photos with models whirling around and there is not a blur in the picture. I am shooting with a Canon Digital Rebel.

Love to hear from ya!
Now come on. I know you love :lust me. What are you waiting for?

It's not so much the lens but the light you need for this. You need enough light for a shutter speed that will stop the action. Flash will help to freeze the action even with a lower shutter speed. Depending on how fast they are flinging their hair 1/1000 of a second or higher would be prefered but slower than that might also work.

And to get a faster shutter speed using a lens that is a f2.8 or a lower f stop helps.
