No shortage of snow around Southern Utah this winter. A new shot from a couple days ago.

Simply a gorgeous shot - living in Idaho I get to shoot in Utah quite a bit and the diversity of landscapes in Utah is just amazing. Great contrast between the blue of the sky, red of the rock and white in the snow - makes for a winning photo.

I definitely don't see too many shots of this place under the white stuff.

I love how the slope in the foreground mirrors the clouds in the background. thumb.gif

I "post holed" down through three feet of new snow to get here. A gorgeous morning, very still, but quite cold. Very pristine and undisturbed.

Very nice image. Pleasing composition as Schmoo pointed out.

Shooting red rock in the winter with snow covering is just really hard to beat for great images. The snow acts as a nice reflector that helps even up the harsh sunlight.
