Is this one...yeah, it's a simple snapshot and not "perfect" and not centered, but it symbolizes a lot!
These 2 guys are brothers and my nephews. The one on the right has been in Iraq since Aug. last year and isn't due home until Jan. 2006. To everyone's surprise, including his own apparently, he got 2 weeks leave time and he arrived home last night. My sister and her family had NO idea! So Thursday we are going to visit him. It makes me so happy that I'm about to :cry
He's in a transportation company so he's in harms way a lot. Nice to know that the next 2 weeks he's home safe. :clap :clap

when a soldier gets home. My prayer is that this time with him is sweet and his return *for good* will be soon and that he will remain healthy.
You are right to post shots like this. I've heard the snapshot vs photograph debate time and again, but photographs like this one are *great* because of the moment captured-not because all the technical ducks are in a row.
Enjoy your time visiting, and as I said may God grant him a quick and healthy return.
Thanks for the reminder that our young men and women are still over there in harms way. It's too easy to forget that amidst the hussle and bussle of life.
