Well in my old age I bought my better half a few flowers, I also had the camera in mind and as a learner I had a go at these two a rose and a tulip. I used the Canon 60mm on the 40D. I set the flowers up against the computer screen but I still got a lot of flare using the 580. Never mind I keep trying. in nine days time I will have the MP-E and I am looking forward to it so much but how I am gonna cope leaves a lot to be desired.

Thanks Brian and Skip, I really do appreciate what you have said. I am sure I will be back on to you again about the MP-E but I have Brians instructions which I am clutching to my chest,
    Regards to you both

The rose is a bit soft, but the tulip is spot on.thumb.gif
