I am wondering what Raw Conversion the members here use. personally I am using Adobe Lightroom, but what else is being used?

What should be added to the list?

I would just point out that Lightroom and CS3 both use ACR 4.x for Raw conversion.

While this is technically true and accurate, I find small adjustments much easier to accomplish in ARC 4.3 than in LR since the scales are so much smaller in LR. I find it more difficult to have the same level of precision in LR as ARC. Anyone else have this complaint about LR?

What OS? Do you use a scroll wheel. Have you tried Kerboard modifiers like Atl/Opt, Ctl/Cmd or Shift?

Have you ried dragging the right Panel Wider for a longer slider? Some of these are the same as what is avalable in ACR.

    Mac OS 10.4.11

I use a two button scroll wheel Logitech mouse

I do use keyboard commands, but not in LR I think. I have not tried making the right panel wider - I just never developed much affection for LR, and run everything through Bridge. My failing, probably.

Currently I hardly ever use PSCS. Don't even have it on this Laptop (though I should for certain things).

I was using mostly Light Room but had hdd crash and lost it as I purchased as a download and had not put on my back up "c" drive.

Now using ACR in Photoshop CS...yeah my PSCS2 went with the crash also live and learn..even the "c" drive must have a duplicate copy

Also have the Raw converter that came with my KM7D's....but do not use it but would as a last resource.

Boy, left out a bunch of converters there! Bibble Lite/Pro, Silkypix, DxO, LightZone, Nikon Capture/EX.

    Myself, I use Bibble Pro.

I think dcraw based software should be listed as well (dcraw, UFRaw, rawtherapee).

Well If we start over (new thread/Poll) what would be a more complete list.

Aperture, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, Capture One, DPP, ACR & PSCS,
Bibble Lite/Pro, Silkypix, DxO, LightZone, Nikon Capture/EX, dcraw, UFRaw, rawtherapee, GraphicConverter.

Any others before I try again?

Love Lightroom for processing a large amount of photos at one time. Use Breezebrowser for quick reviews and renaming of files ( I realy wish LR had an easy renaming function).

Both will process any file I throw at it.
