    No I was not driving, I was standing behind the mustang and...
    What's wrong with taking images while driving? I do it all the time, or are you assuming that I'd hold up a DSLR to my face while driving? There are mounts you can buy for cars that allow you to remotely trigger your camera, which is what I do.

    I was trying to simulate fast speed... unlike what I like to do at a track...

    BTW, I took this image of my speedo while driving with a CELL Phone... of course it was a closed course track.

    it looks pretty good, i have not played with photos like this but alot of the people that i know do, do it with the car off most the time. then you can put the car in N and push it.

    with a slow shutter you dont have to be moving fast to make it look like your moving fast. they do it because the motor gives of vibrations so the photo is not that sharp. not everyone does it that way but it an idea to try.

    this forum has a good amount of talk about mounts

    or you could do it this way :)
