Studio lights and D2H

Tried it out today and got these. What's going on here? I had the settings at f/1.8 and 8000. The lights were set at full power for both, then the one was reduced down to half.

I had no problems with the D70. Any ideas? :dunno

    John,your shutter speed @8000? Thats way beyond your sync speed.
    Try f8.0 @125sec
    Check your AB manual.
