Hiking.

For those outside the area, the SF Bay Area is fortunate to have a group like
the Peninsula Open Space Trust/Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District to
acquire and manage park lands. A good portion of the high ridges are open
space and great places to hike or mountain bike.

I was nearby the same afternoon, hiking from skyline down to Portola park. Next time I try to get up there earlier !
