Not bad Jeff, first we got a provocative title, then we have an excellent shot and finally we have a shameless plug for votes. I think you have touched all the bases on this post. rolleyes1.gif

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    why thank you Harry but
shameless --I call it bold ,up front and good advertisingeek7.gif When you have to compete with photo shop ad pictures with just a one shot photo you have too work harder .thumb.gif I do not think my humor will get someone to vote for meheadscratch.gif but hopefully they will go vote .But if they do like pelicans then :ivar wings.gif thanks Harry peli is not my best shot but it does meen more to me than anyshot I have ever taken and it will not win too any really good shots this time thumb.gif

ok it was like this --it sat in dark shade so I set my exposer as close as i could to what i thought take off would be and waited .moved the camera to my left ,it's right when it saw that white lens I pushed the shutter rolleyes1.gif 3 frames 1 with birdwings.gif 2 no bird :cry The shot was stilll dark but I uped the exposer in raw and added a bit more light in PS .Having the iso on the new d300 makes this something you can try but with the 200 I am walking away deal.gif
