Canon EF 70-300mm F4-5.6 IS USM lens for sale. made AFTER the recall which was due to softness in the portrait orientation in early samples - it is equally sharp in both orientations.
It is like new, with no scratches, marks, dust or fungus in the lens, on the glass, or body. It performs flawlessly. I can't even find any scratches or blemishes on the hood.
This purchase INCLUDES the lens hood - Canon ET-65B - not normally bundled with lens - retails for $44.95 - as well as the original box/packaging, lens/end caps, manual, and warranty card.
It also includes a multi-coated 58mm Hoya HMC UV(N) ultraviolet filter made in Japan, which has been on the lens since I've owned it.
PRICE: $525 (includes shipping to Canada & lower 48 / paypal fees). Local pickup in Toronto will save you $15, as will payment by Google checkout if it doesn't cost me anything - you'll have to lead me through it. Money order also welcome.

... follow the flickr link above for more pictures of and by the lens. Please note those taken at extremely low shutter speeds - the IS is amazing. This picture is at 1/10th second in available light! This is a sharp lens.
