I have a UV01xxx date code 24-70 for sale. It was maybe 5 times, it's been sitting in the box waiting for a home. It comes with box, bag, caps, everything as new.
There are no marks, no dust, no scratches this lens is immaculate. The only marks are on the hood from being in the bag.
I've gone back to a 24-105 due to the weight issue it's much lighter when I take off on a 10 mile hike and I don't need the 2.8
