Sorry about any confusion this may have caused. It's a long story so please don't ask.

I have a 'like new' Canon 500 f/4L IS that I bought new 6 months ago. It has a UV06XX date code which means it was produced in June of '07. Still under warranty with blank card. Complete with all the original goodies plus a LensCoat which has been on the lens since it arrived.

This has proven to be more lens than I can comfortably handle and as such it spends almost all of it's life at home in it's case.

Originally purchased for just under $7,000 (Cdn) plus taxes.

Will sell for $5,200 (Cdn) Firm. Shipping extra.

This lens will likely be of most interest to a Canadian buyer because of sales tax implications.

I took a closer look at the market and decided I had originally priced this lens too high. I'm prepared to take my lumps and have reduced the price to $5,200 firm.
