Iris scan...
does not work if you physically do not have to put your eye up to the viewfinder. What about all of the new DSLR's that have "live view" technology where you can compose a shot like you can with a digicam?

Read the articles about it. You only scan once, not every time you shoot. IIRC there were about three threads last week when the news first hit.
