Hey guys...been taking a bit of a break from the OOB creations and started doing a little PS painting to keep me warm during the cold winter nights...hence the reason for my title. Using my favorite model...my daughter posed for me so I could try my hand a little transformation.

Here are some of the beginning steps:

Wow, very impressive!! I could never even attempt to do anything like it. One suggestion, that might be helpful--if you could air brush/paint your daughter's face, hair, hands, etc.., I think it would tie all the pieces of your art work together nicely. Just my 2cents.

Thanks folks for your very kind words!

-Skippy...you make me blush!! You described my exact intent ...the border between the real and fantasy...thanks!!

-tlee...I understand your point...either I need to make my painted stuff more real to match the photo parts or reduce the photo parts down to the painted look. I am working towards trying to bring the realism of my painting more up to photo-realistic eventually...but alas I have a long way to go. Fun trying though. Thanks for your input.

Here is another one...our younger son this time. :

Lastly here is one of my first trials with painting in PS:
