    Ta mate.

Wonder whats in it....ive had a quick look at DPP & decided to use Raw Shooter instead. Its free & seems to do what the others do. But if it improves...
DPP is considerably better than the consumer raw concerter that is also packaged. Go to it and look it over. "C1" from Phase One is supposed to have better work flow but I haven't sprung $$$ for it yet. The best workflow s/w is the Free Kodak Photodesk but it is specific to the Kodak TIFF with the embedded lossless compressed RAW.

Charles i dont even know what you mean by workflow... i really aint designed to use computers. That capture one does the same thing as Raw Shooter but they want $100 USD..R/Shooter is free. Its really easy to use & i dont need any more stuff in it as once ive finished with RAW...i sent it to PS6 & i do the rest there.
And I also didn't go to C1 but DPP which you should have got free from Canon will give you a little more control before you go to PS and the more you can do in raw the better the final image will be. Give DPP a run and check out the advanced functions.

oh yea... workflow is a one word for "how many steps to do this and how deep in crocs do I have to go before it is done" (time spent and difficulty)
