Surfing in Georgia...

...A few from the local Eastern Surfing Association local contest on Tybee Island - Savannah, GA . Yes, we surf in Georgia...we just don't get the good waves...so we really appreciate when ANY waves come through.... :)

    You have to love the east coast. At least for us in VB, Hatteras is a relatively short drive for some quality surf. :D The photos look good and especially like #4. I wish the next image in the sequence captured the cutback but I can vivdly imagine it.

    I've spend some "quality" time at Hatteras myself......Avon and Buxton areas hold fond summer memories for me!

    ^ Great shots Mike....... I surf here in Savannah with a great guy that grew up surfing Long Island, Montauk, Rockaway and Breezy Point....He has some great stories to tell of those breaks!!

    He's actually the guy in Photo #1 !!

    That first one looks almost Epic..... for the East Coast.

    Very enjoyable shots and good light for the conditions.

    Nice shots! Great light, capture and composition. I love it when sports shots make me interested in a sport I am usually not interested in. :)
