Finally my two Profoto compact-R lights arrived today, complete with two umbrellas, two 8' stands and powercords. It took B&H about 3 weeks to get it, but all is well that ends well. (3x4 softbox came earlier).

Now I have 4 lights total - two AC profotos and and two battery-powered Sunpaks.:barb

Here a few shots of my new toys:

    Thanks, Kerry!
The shirt depicts the angry squirrel with a stick and say "protect your nuts". I got it when me and my girls were in a fencing phase...

The drawings on the wall are from my youngest, Helen. While she is not as big of an artist as her older sister, her simple sketches were always extremely expressive. These are her "Horsey" series - a little animal whose character was very much like Helen's own and basically depicts what she was doing or what she'd wanted to do mwink.gif

    Susan,
    thank you!
It's 3x4. After I purchased it I almost immediately regretted that I didn't get 4x6. But I guess this one will do for now. mwink.gif

This is our common room, which I plan to turn into a full-time studio. It's 22' long and the ceiling goes from 8' to 17', allowing for a very generous lights placement.

If you need a play ground, let me know. Have a good place to host a play date.
