I found this image on one of my DVD files from a trip last year. A small village in the Kathmandu Valley holds one of the most raucus and colorful festivals every April. The Festival of Orange Powder is great fun for all, but potentially lethal for camera gear.

    Neat shot. thumb.gif You might want to consider destaurating the reds a yellows just a bit, as it looks like you have some clipping there. Digital cameras have a tough time with highly saturated reds and magentas and it is easy to blow them out in post.

    What is the significance of the festival?

    These 2 look like they got into a fight inside a big bag of cheetos lol. Interesting shot, but I agree that the color balance is a wee bit out of whack.
