Went to Busch Gardens, Tampa, Wed. 2-20 and had fun taking photos. It wasn't an extremely sunny or hot day, comfortable for me and the critters.
The token bird of the bunch, an African Crowned Crane

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks Harry, I am pretty pleased with that one, too. A unique perspective I was able to take advantage of.

Thanks, Dave. As with a lot of such photos, I was lucky to be there at the right time. Soon after that there was a lot of splashing around and the glass got very wet, not good for taking photos at all.

Nice series Jean. I need to get back to Busch Gardens one of these days. I never did go on the Safari jeep ride. About as close to Africa as I'll ever get. rolleyes1.gif

Thanks Mike. The Rhino Rally (safari ride) is closed for work. I took some shots from the train ride, had to use very fast shutter because the thing is pretty bumpy. Check the website to see when the Rhino Rally reopens before
you go - it is a good chance to see some of the plains animals. They are doing a lot of work there right now but it makes for a nice day out.

Thanks, Mike & Glenn. That hippo shot is a keeper. I look forward to getting back there again once the safari ride is going again.

I try to get on here every night to check out the inspiring shots everyone takes. I never get tired of seeing them!

    Great bunch of folks!
