Been going through some previously 'shelved' captures, and came up with this view of the Torridon Mountains. 2:1 crop from an expansive panorama made by stitching 4 images shot at 182mm f/11 1/60s ISO100.
A work in progress I think definately worth further effort. :dunno
Suggestions welcome!

Oh I think it is worht the effort - it is lovely and has great potential.
My suggestions are to include more foreground if you have it - I want to see more of those rocks and maybe a bigger glimpse of the village. I don't think you need quite as much sky.
I also think you need a stronger black in the scene - I would run a curves adjustment to bring down the darks til something was black. You could try bringing the highlights down too to see if you can pull more out of the top of the sky.
Lovely image though - well worth a few more tweaks.

Unfortunately, there isn't much more subject to add to the image, I have pasted the complete image below. I shot the series using exposure bracketing, so I was able to bring out much more sky detail by blending before stitching.
2:1 crop.

I like this alot - the little house bottom left and the mountains behind really add so much.
Fotofloats are great!
Laast tweak might be to clone out the pole bottom right

It may just have taken a few seconds, but I think your adjustments have really brought out the image Many thanks
I have reworked my existing curves adjustment layers to emulate your version. I've kept the foreground a bit lighter. I'll keep an eye out for your tute on blending.
So, here is (probably) the final result.
Hmm, now that I look at it again.. maybe the foreground is too light.
