How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

What a spectacular series! I would go to Viera just to photograph these falcons! Numbers 4, 8, 10 and the last one are my favorites. Wonderful behavioral pics. thumb.gif

great set and captures Harry clap.gif It certainly is an interesting bird. It also looks a bit similar to a vulture. Is there any kind of distant link there more so than other raptors??

    Hey Mike,

The Crested Caracara (aka The Mexican Eagle - its their national bird) is a member of the falcon family. Like the vulture its mainly a carrion eater but often as in this series will also go after live prey.
