He sniffed me a few times:

And we both decided to leave each other alone:

I love these things!

I just clicked on this thread and my wife says "are you looking at snakes" headscratch.gifscratch before the picture had even opened............she hates them, if she had found this pulling weeds the whole street would of heard and that would of been the end of her ever gardening again.

Nice pictures and surprise for you doing the gardening

Beautiful pictures and i like how you got on the ground for a more level shot. The images are very sharp.

One nitpick: The snake is centered on your low to the ground shots. It looks like your images are sharp enough to crop out the right side and the top half so more of the snake takes up the frame.

This is the kind of crop I am talking about. Of course, it is a personal choice as to how to crop, but you made some great captures, I think they would be better with some cropping. This snake was coming out of my garage. The original picture had the head of the snake centered and wasted space to the right. Some cropping and the snake is much more the focus. My picture could probably stand a little more cropping too.

Very nice! What is your secret to keeping it still long enough to photograph? Do you put in the frig for a while first? mwink.gif
