Day trip to Niagara Falls in winter.
Took a ride yesterday from the PA line to Niagara Falls, NY. Mostly the Seaway Trail. It was cold but a great day for a visit.
#1 This is near Ripley NY looking out toward Canada.
#2 looking north towards Canada. Ripley Ny area.
#3 a ship at Barcelona Harbor.
#4 Barcelona Harbor Lighthouse.
#5 near Dunkirk NY. Lake Erie shoreline looking east toward Buffalo, NY.
#6 American Falls with a view of the observation deck. Very windy out there!
#7 Maid of the Mist in the Gorge.
#8 No viewing today!
#9 Horseshoe Falls at Terrapin Point. You can walk down there once everything is melted!
#10 On Three Sisters Islands
#11 and of course who's going to pay attention to that sign. See the footprints?
this is where someone walked out on the ice. River is underneath!
turn around from the above view and this is what is below.
#12 View of the Falls from the observation deck.
#13 The Rainbow Bridge
#14 A view of the gorge just down stream from the Horseshoe Falls.
that hunk of iceberg is probaly more than 10 foot high!
#15 American Falls. A view from the observation deck.

and lastly a photo of my wife. Not many know she was part of this expedition!
