I was invited to shoot a couple of models with 7 other photographers.
Not knowing anything about lighting or how to pose a model, I decided to give it a try.
This is one of the models, her name is Kasidy.
She has been on a few other shoots, so she knew what to do when I didn't.
I used a Canon 30D with a Tamron 17-50 f2.8 lens.

So, here are a few of my shots of Kasidy.

Love the lighting in the 2nd, great balance of flash and ambient.

Working with models is so much fun, they sure know how to pose, don't they?

I agree. 2 especially is very nice. Great catchlights, perfect exposure. And a great pose from a good model.
    Welcome to dgrin!

I too really like #2 & #4; #3 however is making me feel like this was a blink, not an intentional 'soft\looking down' type look.

    Thanks everyone.

Looks like #2 is your favorite.
I liked the the whole look of #3, but I'm not sure if she was blinking or giving me a look. ne_nau.gif
I was in a very awkward position when I took it, so I'm not really sure.

    Thanks again for looking.
