Thirty second exposure at the beach

I had grabbed the tripod (for a change) and hung around until it got dark enough to do a long exposure of the incoming waves.

Very cool picture Dee. It looks like you're on top of a mountain and those are clouds, not waves.

Thanks Nick! I appreciate your stopping and commenting. Those rocks in the foreground are part of a sea wall. Next time I'll try some different f-stops, I had to leave early. I can easily see how it looks like fog or clouds.

Dee, you do take some GREAT photos of the bay area. Nick's right - it does look like clouds with great light. What draws me to this is that it's not a typical shot that you'd see from the vicinity, but it's lovely all the same. I'm glad you have plans to try this again because I'd love to see more.

Thank you for the comments everyone. I wasn't even thinking clouds, but you are all right, they do look like I'm looking down and off in the distance over a cloud layer.
